I love to entertain family and friends. I love to cook and bake. One of my favorite times of the year is Christmas where I bake lots and lots of chocolates for all my family and friends. The tradition started in my teenage years and I continue and add new recipes to my collection every year. I love making holiday's and birthday's special for the people around me.
Dear Birthparents,
Writing this letter to you, we recognize that neither of us can know nor fully appreciate what you are experiencing – the decisions you must make, your worries and fears, and your hopes for the future. In considering adoption, we understand that you are making the most significant and possibly difficult decision of your life. We have nothing but respect for you as you move through this time in your life and would feel incredibly honored to parent your child.
Crystine
Hi, my name is Crys. Thank you so much for taking time to read about us. I have dreamed of becoming a mother since I was a little girl. I babysat the younger kids on my block starting at the age of 10. I knew from a younger age that I wanted to care for and raise a child in a loving and caring environment like the one I was raised in. Christopher and I met in 2005 and we both knew right away we were meant for each other. We met a little later in life and were making plans for our future soon after. He was everything I was looking for in a man. His love and commitment not only to me but to both our families make me realize everyday how lucky I am. We both come from large close-knit families and that means everything to us. Soon after our wedding we tried to begin own family. After years of being unsuccessful, we have chosen this next journey for us. I believe all that we have been through these past few years has made us stronger as a couple and can't wait for this next step in our lives. We are so excited to begin this next phase and have the family we are hoping for. Both of our extended families are supportive and excited to be able to share this journey with us.
I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago (South Side Irish) and we moved to the south suburbs in a middle class community. I attended Northern Illinois University and received a bachelor degree in social work. I work in a different industry at the moment but hope to go back one day to receive a Master as Degree to be able to help people.
My parents (Don and Sis) were married for 44 years before my mom passed away just a year ago. They raised me along with my 3 siblings, David, Colleen, and Donny. Losing my mother was one of the hardest times of my life. In a way her passing has made me a stronger woman. I know I want to have and raise a family in the manner in which my parents raised us. My father worked as an electrician and mom stayed at home raising us kids. My parents always made sure we had a home cooked meals and we sat down every evening around the dinner table as a family talking about the day. We all enjoyed spending quality time together. We were fortunate enough to take vacations every year or just loved hanging out with one another in the backyard, swimming in our pool. Growing up my parents always made an event out of birthdays and holidays. We celebrated every birthday and began traditions on holidays that I can't wait to continue one day within my own family. I was very blessed to have grown up in such a loving, warm and fun environment.
We have 3 beautiful nephews under the age of 4 with whom I can't spend enough time. We have them over any chance we get and spoil them just as an aunt and uncle should. I can't wait for the day for them to meet their new cousin. My mother and I spoke every day and to this day, I talk with my dad and sister almost every day. We all love to spend time together as a family any chance we get. When it as time to say good-bye we are saying “I love you
I was brought up in a relatively large, loving family and I am eager to begin one of my own. Crystine and I have an abundance of love to give to a new member of our family. I am very close with many of my friends from elementary school and would my child/children to be able to spend time with their children to develop a bond like I possess with my friends. I enjoy working, but I look forward to the day that I can teach my children about the balance between work and play, as well as everything else that the world has to offer.

I wanted to be a mom ever since I could remember. I spend most of my free time with my nephews and can never get enough. I can't wait for the day where I have my own children to raise them in a loving and caring family like the one I was raised in.
